  • Monthly day retreats with seasonal themes or topics, such as: Advent, Lent, Mary, the Eucharist, the Paschal Mystery

  • Spiritual Book and Video Study Groups

  • Afternoon spirituality talks

ABOUT US

Sacred Heart on the Lake, a ministry of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, was established in 1964 as a respite for the Sisters. It is now also a hospitality and retreat ministry. The Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an international Congregation of women religious founded in Italy by Blessed Clelia Merloni in 1894. Our mission is to make the compassionate Heart of Christ better known, loved and served. We do this by personal and communal witness to the Gospel, commitment to growth in holiness and ministry to the people of God.
